BOOK REVIEW: Feedback by Robison Wells

Feedback by Robison Wells | 3/5

I absolutely loved Variant's little surprise at the end, and I was looking forward to another mind-blowing one for Feedback. But honestly, I find the book slow and stagnant. There were no surprises, and I anticipated the whole thing, except for the twins. Speaking of the twins, it kind of mislead me. I was looking forward to something more from them, but obviously they are not much of importance. I wanted something big - something that would blew me off - ANOTHER BIG SECRET PROBABLY - as the line goes in the TV show, Nikita, "There's always a group behind a group." But yes, I was disappointed. And I thought there's a third book.

Though I should say that the last few lines of the book made me smile. It was the part when Benson said, "Just checking." to Becky (Avoiding spoilers here). Good ending I shall say, but its not good enough to make me look back at it 20 years down the road and say, "There was this book I once read, and it blew me away!"

Cheers,
Lilah Gran
