"How to get numb 101" a session no one cares about, by Lilah Gran.

So, uhm... I had yet another conversation with a stranger, and he asked me, "How do you survive it?"

I replied, "I get numbed."

"How do you get numbed?" he asked.

Allow me to discuss "How to get numb 101" a session no one cares about, by Lilah Gran.

Lesson #1: Like writing fiction, write your reality in third-perspective. Treat yourself as your audience. That way, it hurts less. That way, you can care less. Say, when you fall, just laugh at it. After all, everyone desperately hides their laugh when they see someone trip. Forget about respect. Forget about pity. Forget about yourself. Remember, you are not you. You are someone watching your body do the actions your mind has control of. Third-perspective.

Lesson #2: Wait for the end of the week, every week. Go with the flow, they say. Just think about that weekend getaway with your family, or that TGIF clubbing with your friends. Mondays through Fridays can just suck balls. Focus on how much fun this weekend will be and everything else won't matter.

Lesson #3: Things will get better. Not that it will, but believe that it will. Yeah, just keep believing and telling yourself that things will indeed get better, and before you know it... time has passed by... and you find out you're actually dying (of old age). How time flies. That- or everyone around you is- if not dying, then perhaps already dead. Distract yourself with the mantra. Repeat with me: Things will get better.

"So, how do you get numbed?" he asked.

I replied, "I get used to it."

Note: Disregard the three lessons above, I'm being dramatic. Oh, and I'm only a drama queen in writing. Just so you know.
