Anyway, so while I was there, I realized the associate was accommodating another, which is by the way I am okay with. I mean, I could wait, but I didn't. I took it as a sign from above to check out its next door neighbor, "Make-up Forever". After all, this line received so many raves on and offline. I've always wanted to try it out, but each and everytime, I just feel intimidated and leave. (Like entering the MAC store)
However, I managed to pull out my guts and before I could turn my back, this associate started getting friendly with me. Now take note that I was going for a "concealer". So I asked him for a recommendation. He gave me the tube on the right of the photo above. And when I asked how much it was, I was completely blown away. Girl this shit ain't joking! For the size of the tube, you are obliged to pay a freaking... (okay I forgot how much it was. I suppose between the numbers of 1.5k to 3k). And I mean, it's a freaking petty tube! Smaller even than that of the Porefessional Primer from Benefit Cosmetics and that one's already too expensive!
Oh well.
The coolest thing about Make-up Forever though, at least the branch I went to, at SM Mall of Asia, is that the associate wasn't only friendly, but he was also informative. He told me about the shades of the concealer. So basically, every shade comes with an initial before the name (which in this case a "number", I think). Mine was Y23. So "Y" basically stands for Yellow Undertone, and the 23 apparently is the shade.
How cool is that. Thanks bro!
If you ask me in matters of the "HD" Powder on the left of the photo, I'd say "WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING". Shit is fucking expensive too! (Around 2k to 3k) I got blown away because Youtube told me this shit is the bomb. I see many people use this thing and here I am on the other part of the screen thinking I need that in my life.

No one could tell the difference.
It also smells rather similar.
But tell you not, I started wearing both a few days ago.
And let me tell you.
I see where the raves are coming from! Totally worth the hype.
1.) I noticed I need not retouch when I applied the HD Powder. Maybe this is situational, but for now I'd tell you that.
2.) The concealer need not too much. Little with this thing goes a long way. It feels like nothing when I put it on, but contrast to that, the coverage is great. I'd go for this now, but I might take some more time to see if I prefer this over my Lauder for good.
3.) My roommate freaking complimented my makeup when I started using both. And I was like, "I didn't even do any different with my routine, it's just the concealer and the powder." Apparently I don't look dead to her.
So wow. I am excited to try more.
