Let me know, I'm confused

You know what I realized in the past weeks? 

Boys are cowards.

(Or at least a hand pick of boys from the pool of boys I know now)

Now before I start, I only want to reiterate that my opinion is solely based from my personal observation. If I interpreted it wrongly, then I apologize. 

This is usually how it goes.

Hot girls. 

Sexy, tall, fair, pretty girls.

We all know it's their weakness.

Besides, all they talk about is them kind of girls.

They tease each other,

Joking green out and about.

I actually thought it meant something.

That it wasn't just words.

That if faced with one right away, they'd jump to it. 

After all, that's how all the songs are written.

But then when (hot) girls are finally in front of them,

They retreat.

And I don't understand why.

They talk about meeting hot girls,

Hooking up with hot girls,

But then once in a while when the girls play along,

The boys always freak out.

They back off.

What cowards.

Okay, so we all have different group of friends, right?

Sometimes, on a few occasions, we allow them to cross paths.

Then sometimes, one from the other likes another.

Then you introduce them,

Support them,

Find all means to work it out.

But the boys,

They never (seem to) expect to be liked back.

Because when girls do,

They run off.

Like a scaredy cat.

And I am just laughing my ass off.

And then on most cases, 

They find girls they like,

But refuse to make moves,

Then complain about nothing is happening for the world to hear.

*shakes head*

What is your problem exactly?

Tell me.

Explain it to me.

Your problem do not exist.

I think your problem is that your problem doesn't exist.

That the dramatic love life doesn't exist between you two,

Because let's admit it,

Drama begets love.

There is drama when there is love,

And love when there is drama.

So your problem is the absence of that drama,

That complication itself,

Get it?

You say it's complicated,

It's not sir.

It's the lack of complication,

You mean.

I don't know,

But I laugh each time I observe these.

Guys I knew growing up,

Were so much fiercer.

So much in control.

They find what they want,

And they aim for it.

They message that girl,

Without hesitations.

There is no second guessing.

There is no worrying about fake problems.

Is it that they are a completely different sub-species of men?

Was everything I knew only a speck of the population?

Was everything I knew the rarest kind?

And most boys are actually cowardly?
