Today I'm reklamo

Respect is not given, it is earned.

When I chose this school I didn't really consider every little thing that annoys me to this day. I was determined to just get in. It didn't take long before I started to hate this institution. It could be the Millenial inside of me, but this is what I genuinely feel.

I guess I was used to being Green too much. I remember walking down our campus and there isn't one place being built or renovated. Throughout the semester, random restaurants would pop up. It gives us something new to try. All the employees recognizes us as their customer and would treat us with so much respect. Except the admin building. All admin at every school sucks. At least they were synchronized, organized, and systematic. Their online system was effective (sometimes not efficient, but let us take it on the nationwide snail slow broadband speed). Kudos because they actually, somehow, made it work. Schoolbook and the Portal was an amazing addition to the system. And I remember being hesitant to use it at first because I had a feeling it wouldn't work. But it did, to my surprise.

They also did it so fast it's unreal. A new building takes only a couple of months. A new canteen takes the same. When National Bookstore came about, it didn't take long to launch.

Everything back then was always improving.
Quite the opposite of today.

Everything flushes to the drain.

Yeah, I get it. The school holds such high reputation in Law. But no wonder it's unknown to the common people. The facilities suck, the whole system suck, and basically the snack bar sucks. The scheduling for instance, takes forever to be announced. Back in the day I remember our schedules get published about a week prior to the first day. Now we get the room assigned, hours before it starts. We get last minute changes to our schedule, like they own our time. (In a way they do I guess, pero today I'm reklamo)

Don't even get me started with the snack bar or the canteen. When you go around 5pm, you can barely buy anything because either it's all sold out, or they have already closed. I don't understand this. It's like they did not coordinate with the admin on the scheduling of the students. Most of us begin class at 5pm and ends it 9pm. And now you're telling me I can't eat? And water. Water is supposed to be unlimited, even for free. You can barely drink from the fountain, and the canteen just runs out of supply if you get there late afternoon. The school is trying to kill us.

I've noticed some things didn't make sense, and causes such nuisance to us students. I don't understand.

I feel like this nuisance of mine becomes a hindrance to "me actually liking this school" and "me actually excelling in this school". Few months in and I can't say so. Respect? I can't seem to give it away.
