Flight to Las Vegas

The week prior to my flight I had my finals week at Law School. I had two days to prep for my trip and I was running around town to buy stuff for my Mom, plus I needed to drop by at the bank to sign some stuff for my dollar purchase, and all the while trying to find time to spend with my boyfriend before I leave. I was in a haze and didn't really pack well for trip. Although I really want to document my entire experience travelling abroad by myself, I was too stressed and paranoid to do so. Everyone keeps pressuring me about the Immigration process. The entire journey I couldn't really relax because I was worried I'd be departed as soon as I land in Los Angeles. I was too careful not to overpack that I ended up not packing enough. I was nervous while I was excited. I didn't want to overdress so the entire flight I was feeling gross about myself. It definitely affected my self-esteem. That's one thing I really regret from it all. But I give myself the benefit of the doubt because it was my first time.

When I arrived in Los Angeles, it was 8am LA time. Convert that in PH is 11pm -ish. I had my connecting flight at 2pm so I was practically awake the whole night in PH time. Worst part is that my flight to Las Vegas was delayed for two hours! The entire waiting was agony. I was half asleep the whole time that I couldn't enjoy the potential airport shopping experience. At that point I really just wanted to sleep and get to my destination. I was so desperate I lost all the excitement for the trip.

Despite the hassle of it all, I learned so much from this trip. I'd definitely want to try it again.
