You probably didn't notice it before but I never caption anything with "Forever". Well, except when you're family of course. "Forever" is a cage we often lock ourselves into so predators don't attack us. In a disguise of protection, we let our guards down, letting a handcrafted piece of metal become our only world. We trap ourselves in. We build a life there because it's safer.
But that's the thing, one day we'll run out of resources. Life would somehow find a way to push us out of our comfort zone. The years of hiding would turn out to be a waste of time. Then there's that painful realization that we haven't actually lived. We only survived.
Not to sound antagonistic, but I don't believe in "Forever". Not necessarily because there's no such thing, but rather, it doesn't exist.
I'd face the wild head on. I'm pretty sure to find courage there.
And the only way to get ahead of the predators, is to become a bigger predator.
