If you can control the way you think, you control everything around you. Being your best self is ALWAYS hard work. And it will hurt to choose yourself. It will hurt to say no. It will hurt to stay calm. It will hurt to let go of things. It will hurt to stay away from gossip. It will hurt to stay away from negativity. It will hurt to wake up early. It will hurt to stay away from Mcdonalds. It will hurt to stay healthy and happy. And above all, it will hurt to accept the things you cannot change.
It's a decision, one that you make everyday. It will come slowly, some achieve it at 30 while some 26. The way to do it faster is if you help yourself. Stay away from bad influences. Choose your friends. Choose your routine. Choose your community. Choose to sleep at least 7 hours a day. That's a stretch already. Choose to drink water a ton.
I recently deactivated my Twitter and I am certain not to retrieve it again. Not because I hate using it, but so I can stay away from tilling negative thoughts. Believe it or not it does encourage ranting and gossiping, which isn't really healthy. I choose to carry my own water bottle no matter how bulky because I choose to drink more. Help yourself. Peace of mind is a decision, not a destination. Yes you will get there, for sure at 50, but you can get there now.
